Date & Location to be announced 2020 7-9 PM

The March meeting of the Capital of Texas Postcard Club will be held from 7:00 to 9:00 PM somewhere!  We are seriously trying to find a new location to meet, more central, and possibly on a different night of the month.  Please check back as our meeting date approaches for updates.  If we don't nail down a location by March 3rd, we will meet at the South Austin Senior Activity Center but we are hoping to have news of a new location.

We invite you to join us, wherever and whenever we are meeting, at 7:00 PM for an exciting review of the new book, SEVENTY YEARS OF AUSTIN TEXAS POSTCARDS 1900-1970 by Kenneth C. Wukasch and Waneen Spirduso.

This program will explain how and why the book was written while highlighting its seven chapters, three appendices, glossary, references, and index.  Among the book's 217 pages, over 600 postcards are illustrated including 214 real photos.

The book will be available for sale at a book signing event to be held at the Austin History Center, 810 Guadalupe Street, Austin, Texas, on Saturday, April 4th, at 3:00 PM.  We hope many of you can attend this event as well.

Refreshments are pot-luck style, the Club will provide beverages, cups, plates, and utensils.
